1 More Transplant Ends the Year with 148!

On December 31st, New Year's Eve, Hawai'i Cord Blood Bank was notified that one more cord blood unit donated from a generous Hawai'i family found a match to a patient in need and was transplanted, giving the gift of life a second time! What a wonderful way to celebrate the ending of a great year and ring in the new year! Mahalo nui loa to everyone who has had a helping hand in continuing our mission to support measures aimed at improving patient access to transplant, including the collection and public banking of umbilical cord blood from Hawaii's ethnically diverse population.
